One last word for February

One last post before I go take my "downer" pill. They call them "Go" and "No-go" pills in the "literature" out here. So far, it's been Go, Go, Go today. Can't say I haven't enjoyed the extra mental energy. Like I said, I can tell why they are controlled. Still, it will be good to be back to my normal self tomorrow. Now, to head back to my room and take the "No-go" pill. I'm heading straight to bed, so no midrats antics from me tonight. The appetite suppressant side effect has certainly been true for me. I was running during dinner and haven't been hungry since. Then again, I have been snacking on care package goodies quite a bit today. So far, just the two boxes from my parents and Amanda, but I know there are others inbound. There are still many pallets of mail sitting down in the hangar bay waiting to be sorted. I think it will take a couple days to get it all distributed. Maybe we'll have several happy days ahead. Tomorrow, a debrief with the doc on what the pills did to me and then 8 hours of watch. For now, off to a drug-induced good night's sleep.
