Yes, I'm still up. There are some great photos here showing many of the things on the flight deck that I have recently written about. Specifically, you can see the bow cat bubble, some final checkers giving thumbs up prior to launch, and some helo's doing VERTREP. Lots of good stuff. OK. Now I'm going to bed.

Recently, I took Kaylie on the "Soaring over California" ride at California Adventure. One of the things you fly over (it feels like you're hang-gliding over amazing scenery for those who haven't ridden on it) is the deck of a carrier.
I told Kaylie that we were flying over the kind of ship where Uncle Scott (aka Katelynn/Emily/Beth/Hailey's Daddy) works. She was so excited to see it -- they even had a helicopter hovering and she decided it was definitely you. I'll have to share these pics with her as well...
