1000 yard stare

It's 1830. 21 1/2 hours into my day. One and a half hours to go and I can go to bed. I want to make it till 8 so I don't wake up too early tomorrow morning. I'm fading fast, though. My capacity for rational, coherent thought is pretty much wiped out at this point. I have a few articles of mindless paperwork to keep me busy, but otherwise I just have to power through. Too late for caffeine. I'm on coast mode now. Any more caffeine will set up the mental jittery headache that has worked to keep me awake for all nighters in the past, but would not be good since I'm so close to finally going to bed. Tomorrow should be a good day. I'll provide more detail on that when I can. That's all for now. Good night.

Sounds like you have a DIFFICULT couple of days. Hopefully, you were able to get some good sleep. I know when I have been up that long, it takes me a couple of nights to get back to normal (which would be VERY hard for you).

Been watching the news and you guys have been mentioned a LOT. I'm sure things are a little more EXCITING than they have been. We are praying for ALL of you guys.

I'm praying for you, too. You've been on my mind. Based on the news, I'm sure there's a ton of stuff you can't tell us.
Love,

Your sleep "schedule" or lack of one is making me tired! :)

I hear through my grapevine that the reason Scott has not posted for a few days is that he has 5 days of shore leave. When last heard from, he was swimming in a hotel swimming pool. I think it was in Bahrain. Seems he's been making calls to his nearest and dearest.
