"Carrier Task Force"

Once again, it's 2am and I need to get to sleep. Church starts in less than 8 hours! Not much to write about today. I spent most of the day working on evals. Almost done.

I thought I'd post a link to an explanation of the concept of a Carrier Task Force. This provides a little understanding of and historical perspective on the two capital ships currently deployed to this region. Some will find the article boring, some mildly interesting perhaps. Some may already know all this. Anyway, there it is. Good night.

GREAT picture of the ship. Looks good with all of the CAG jets nice and pretty. The thing I noticed was a LOT of rusty spots on the ship. I would bet the ship the BM's are going to be busy on the next port visit. Keep up the good work.

Hmmmm, when I think CTF, I think Axis and Allies and major sea battles around Hawaii--usually when I'm about to be blown out of the water!!! I think the CTF is especially applicable in your game.

Okay, help me out here - what is an HS-8?

HS-8 is an abbreviation for the name of my squadron, Helicopter Anti-submarine Squadron Eight. More info on the squadron can be found here. When Janell refers to the "HS-8 special" she is talking about the colofully painted helicopter sitting on flight deck. I'll post a better picture of it soon.
