Inflight Re-enlistment

On today's flight, we had two passengers in the cabin: a young SK2 and her division officer from the E-2 squadron. Her DivO is not a pilot, rather he is an aviation maintenance duty officer. During the flight, he administered her re-enlistment oath, which was a treat for us to be able to host. SK's don't get a re-enlistment bonus, so her perk was to be able to re-enlist in flight. As I've said before, the navy is willing to entertain just about any request from Sailors to support a memorable re-enlistment ceremony. I was glad to play a small part in this outstanding young woman's decision to continue to serve. Here's a picture of us in the ready room a few moments before we walked up to go flying...
