OK. I couldn't leave off with such a bummer of an entry as I wrote earlier. Granted, most of today was pretty hazy for me. The Vitamin M I took this evening finally started to help. Navy medicine can cure ANYTHING with Vitamin M. It's the exilir of the modern age. 800mg and I'm a new man. Kind of. Anyway, I wanted to offer praise for an answered prayer. I've had a vision of starting a Bible Study amongst the airwing pilots since the beginning of workups, but I have yet to do anything about it. This afternoon, I got an email from a friend of mine in one of the Hornet squadrons (his call sign is "Fish"), announcing a pilot's bible study that would start meeting tonight. There were about 12 of us there! God was already at work even when I had started to feel guilty for not following through on His prompting. One of the guys in the group was in a bible study with me on the Vinson, back with CAG 11 8 years ago (oh my gosh, has it been that long!?). Two guys were in bible studies with Janell and I in flight school. It seems to be a great group of guys and we're all focused on common goals: glorifying God, bringing others to Him, and holding each other accountable for our own personal walk. We started reading through Phillipians tonight. I'm leading the discusion next week on the 2nd half of chapter 1. We're starting out with an inductive walk through Phillipians. I ask you to pray for this group, that we would be an impact to those around us and that the light of Christ would shine through us.
And I am sure that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on that day when Christ Jesus comes back again. Phil 1:6 (NLT)

O.K. I finally realized that I can leave comments here after reading your blogs. I'm a still a bit hopeless with computer stuff at times, but I'm learning. I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you and praying for you daily! I'm glad you're feeling a bit better. I didn't realize how awful it was to get smallpx vaccine. Yuk! I'm really enjoying all your writings. I'm learning a lot. I hope you have a great day/night (I have no iea what time it is for you right now. It's 11:45 a.m. here and I'm getting a moment at the computer while babies are sleeping). Love you brother!
